[The Crosswalk Devotional]( A God Who Hears and Listens
By Lynette Kittle âBecause He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I liveâ - [Psalm 116:2]( Have you ever had times in your life when it seemed like God didn't hear you? It can seem pretty discouraging when we feel like our prayers arenât being heard and we arenât sensing Godâs presence and interventions in difficult situations. Sadly, feeling unheard often leads people to feel unloved, forgotten, and of little value to God. Yet all those feelings arenât based on truth but rather on we what we arenât seeing or experiencing happening in our lives because God does hear us. âAnd if we know that He hears usâwhatever we askâwe know that we have what we asked of Himâ ([1 John 5:15]( Often, when we feel unheard, God is at work in ways we may not see or know at the time. [Romans 8:28]( assures us in all situations, âAnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.â  [CONTINUE READING â](

[Family Sings Beautiful Rendition Of 'Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing'](
Â
GodTube.com Feel the love of the Lord as you listen to The Crosby family sing the beloved words of âCome Thou Fount Of Every Blessing.â The hymn was written in 1757 by the 18th-century pastor Robert Robinson. He was just 22 years old, at the time. The powerful lyrics, which dwell on the theme of divine grace, are based on 1 Samuel 7:12. âCome, Thou Fount of every blessing, Tune my heart to sing Thy grace; Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise.â Claire and her dad became instant Internet sensations after their sweet duet of 'You've Got A Friend In Me' was posted online. The video quickly went viral with millions of people falling in love with this precious daddy-daughter duo. Since then, Claire has continued to share her talent for performing through a thriving YouTube channel and appearances on shows such as The Voice and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Today, she has the whole family together for a stunning performance of the classic hymn âCome Thou Fount Of Every Blessing.â âTeach me some melodious sonnet, Sung by flaming tongues above. Praise the mount, Iâm fixed upon it, Mount of Thy redeeming love.â What a beautiful performance full of love and praise for our King. And it is such a blessing to watch this family share their special gift of leading worship.
