Feel like your business is moving too slow? If so, you’re not alone. This is one of the most common complaints I hear from our newer clients. Here’s some advice I shared to help one of them get over a hump and ignite new growth… ======= If you want to move faster, you have to take your business more seriously. - You have to get expert help... - You have to figure out a better offer... - You have to spend more time identifying the optimal lead source... - And then you have to spend more time dialing in the sales scripts so they work better. You're trying to build a 7-figure business off a 5-figure work schedule — it's not going to happen. You have big ambitions, but at the same time you're easily guilted into the ‘average person lifestyle’ and you don't seem ready or willing to make the hard sacrifices. Listen, that's okay too. You don't need to work 70 hours a week… Or stay up working 70 hours straight — like my friend Joel Marion did multiple times per year when he was building his business to $100 million. But you do need to commit to better planning and preparation than ever before... And then do what it takes to reach the next level (see my first four notes above). I highly recommend you make a list of what you ARE and are NOT willing to do to be successful… Then clearly define what your version of success looks like… And be okay with that, and live your life accordingly. ======= Simply put… To succeed, you must make sacrifices. Otherwise you must happily accept that your current status will not change. “It is always our choice whether or not we wish to pay the price for life’s rewards.” – Epictetus Know what's worth it. Know what is not. Know what you will do. Know what you will not. Set your limits and expectations… Be content with them both… And be prepared to make the sacrifices necessary (within your limits) to reach your goals. Ultimately, you will discover whether your ambitions are congruent with your ideal lifestyle… OR… If your personal definition of success requires you to adjust either your limits… or your expectations. Bottom line: Get crystal clear on exactly what success means to YOU. Then do what it takes to go get it. Success Loves Speed, Craig PS - If you’re ready to 2X your income (or more) while working 10 less hours per week... ... Just REPLY to this email with the words “2X 10 LESS” and we'll set up a time to chat with you to find out if we can help. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
