[Cprime]( AGILE | PRODUCT | CLOUD I know I’ll be stating the obvious by sharing with you that 2020 was a challenging year. Many of the disruptive elements that turned this rollercoaster year to a time of unprecedented challenge on a global scale are still in action as we enter 2021. I personally believe that the coming year brings hope for the beginning of a resolution and, perhaps, a return to some form of normalcy. 2020 was a year of noteworthy achievements. Despite the disruption and the adjustment to a new reality, we at Cprime made tremendous progress in many areas, including Agile, Product and Technology. But if the passing year taught me anything, it is that, in the end, it’s about people. It is always about people and interdependence. A key lesson learned from 2020, something that this year reminded us of in a big way, is that people, countries, governments, industries, and companies are all interwoven and interdependent. It took a once in a lifetime disruption in the form of COVID-19 to highlight the criticality and fragility of these dependencies and what happens when we don’t continuously and proactively nurture their agility. Agility is a muscle that needs to be nurtured. Just as a professional athlete stretches, and works on various muscle groups in a balanced fashion, or a football player practices yoga - they are actively building and nurturing their muscles to be agile. No coach or athlete can plan for every single possible disruption, eventuality or scenario of a game… but they can prepare their bodies to have the agility to quickly adjust and react to the game as it unfolds. That is the key. So what do we do? How can we flex our agility muscles? 2020 demonstrated clearly that we can’t plan for the next disruption, or even predict it with any certainty. Instead, we need to embrace the change and focus on proactively building agility muscles to effectively adapt to those situations as they occur. If anything, disruptions will continue to accelerate, whether it’s a public health crisis, the emergence of an unexpected rapid market shift, or even a possible extinction of an entire industry/ecosystem. Surviving and even thriving in times of uncertainty is rarely based on one, clearly defined solution. It calls for multiple interdependent components. I view Cprime’s offering and solutions in a similar way. Even though our leading practice areas of Agility, Product & Tech, ALM, Learning and Innovations appear to be standalone, they are, in essence, interlocking, interdependent and building upon one another. The past year challenged us all, professionally and personally. On my part, I am grateful and proud that we at Cprime have demonstrated the ability to pivot and work on our agility muscles this year. Our swift and deliberate reaction as the COVID-19 crisis began to unfold allowed us so far to weather the storm, keep our business healthy and avoid some of the painful measures we’ve been witnessing around us. I couldn't be more proud of how Cprimers stepped up to the challenge to adjust our business to support our clients in need. In the coming year and thereafter, it remains critical that we continue to challenge ourselves and each other to work on our agility muscles as we plan and execute on our strategy. Our strategy, essentially, is the continuous agility of our own people and teams in order to support and enhance the agility of our clients’ people and teams. This year taught us a great deal about uncertainty, preparedness, and the importance of adjusting and reacting to a new unforeseen reality. On a personal level I believe this year taught us we are more resilient than we realize, how to care and be more compassionate. It also taught us that, as a company and as individuals, we are part of something bigger. We are all interdependent. Wishing you and yours a safe, healthy, and happy New Year. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
