In Montana, defending public lands transcends party politics. It's important to our native communities, conservation leaders, ranchers, and hunters alike. {NAME}, I was raised with a close connection to Montana lands. Growing up, my family spent all of our free time outdoors -- camping, hiking, rafting, and fishing. Our neighbors readily shared access to their lands, and we all cared for them collectively. Horseback riding with my mom and grandpa. (My brother pictured) But right now, our public lands are in trouble. That’s because Ryan Zinke -- the Republican frontrunner in the race for MT-01 -- has a track record for opening up public lands for fossil fuel exploitation. [Public lands are one of Montana’s most precious resources, and we can’t risk them being sold to the highest bidder. If protecting public lands matters to you, will you contribute $3 to help my campaign to fight for their protection?]( [Contribute »]( The Natural Resources Defense Council (NDRC) described Ryan Zinke’s tenure at the Department of the Interior as a “a full-scale attack on Teddy Roosevelt’s legacy.” He ripped apart environmental safeguards and gave the green light for energy and mining companies to exploit public lands for personal profits. In Montana, defending public lands transcends party politics. It's important to our native communities, conservation leaders, ranchers, and hunters alike. We deserve a representative who will defend our lands -- not exploit them for political and personal gain. That's why I'm running for Congress, but I can't win this race without support from grassroots donors like you: We are noticing a downtick in donations over the past two weeks, and we’re a bit concerned we may miss our end-of-month fundraising goal. [If you haven’t donated recently, please take a moment to chip in a donation of $3 today. Your support will go a long way in making sure we elect a public lands advocate in Montana.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Chip in $10 Now]( [Chip in $35 Now]( [Chip in $50 Now]( [Chip in $100 Now]( [Chip in $250 Now]( [Another amount]( Thank you so much, Cora Paid for by Cora for Montana Cora Neumann is a public health and economic development expert running for Congress in Montana's new 1st Congressional District.
