Did you know I also have a site where I collect ads and marketing I like called [SwipeFile](=)? Today I'm going to show you some of my favorite old timey ad "swipes" 1976 Chevette magazine ad: The car is hideous, but the ad is lovely! This 1976 magazine ad had almost no copy, and let the unique design and shape (ESPECIALLY for that era) stand out and do the talking. Love it! Ford Bronco Magazine Ad: This old-school Ford Bronco magazine ad leads strong with a great picture of the Bronco off-roading, but also has a whole section at the bottom such as: "Most powerful V6 engine. More horsepower and torque than a Chevy S-10 Blazer!" This is a feature that lets you drive up steeper hills and go faster, and also include an awesome comparison to the competition. "Perfect size for 4-Wheeling" This is a cool feature that indicated you can navigate crazy terrain easier. "Let the sun shine in" A feature showing off it's sunroof. Overall this is a great little ad! This is an amazing old-school ad from McGraw-Hill that demonstrates what it’s like for someone going into a sales meeting trying to pitch a product. Love how grumpy this guy looks! Campbell's Soup Print Ad: I just love Campbell's Soup old school print ads. They were always simple, elegant, informative, and made ya wanna eat/drink the soup! Live Monkey Magazine Ad w/ Order Form: I somehow doubt this ad would fly today, but this is a great ad! First of all it grabs you with a picture of a monkey wearing clothes....which is just awesome. Then the copy shows some helpful benefits and features of owning a monkey. It also offers a money-back guarantee (monkey-back guarantee??) and has a strong call to action to fill out a form. I'm already sold!! [Unsubscribe]( | [Update your profile]( | 801 W 5th St. , Austin, TX 78703
