The S.T.U.P.I.D. Email This is a fun email for Friday October 1st, 2021. Hope you like it :)

The S.T.U.P.I.D. Email (Swipe, Thought, Uplifting, Picture, Interesting, Drawing) This is a fun email for Friday October 1st, 2021. Hope you like it :) Swipe: This is an awesome Chivas Regal Whiskey ad from 1976 that uses price comparison to do two things: 1.) Associate Chivas Regal with other expensive luxury goods. 2.) Shows that Chivas Regal as an "inexpensive" way to experience luxury. Thought: If you're running a business (especially eCommerce or retail) you should be aware all the best promotion days are approaching this Q4 For example Black Friday seems far, but it's really just right around the corner. Hope you've prepared in advanced so you can actually ENJOY the holiday's rather than be bogged down with promotions and activity :) Uplifting I've been dog sitting Sid Da Dog for a week. Here he is working in the office with me: I blew the leaf blower at him. He was not amused 😂 Then we went to the gym together (I used this pic bc I look the most ripped) 😏 Picture: I’m a sucker for images that immediately grasp your attention, and this one definitely has a “curiosity inducing” vibe. I saved it in my swipe file, but had trouble categorizing it because it doesn't really have much of an explanation or specifically sell anything. It's from a 1978 advertising photo with actress Susan Wood for New York Magazine. It's just a neat photo for some reason! Interesting: Here's a screenshot of the private member activity happening inside CC: So far there’s been: • 5 Writing Wednesday’s (where we co-work together) • 5 Office Hours (where we live re-write copy and strategy) • 37 video clips (snippets of us going over copy and modifying) • 1,281 posts (people asking questions or us punching up copy) • 3,283 reactions (likes and thumbs up) • 149,163 words (this is just a cool metric) • 973,384 characters (another cool metric...almost 1,000,000 characters typed this month alone) 😮 [Join us](=) so you can rip your Q4 2021. Drawing: Try publicly stating a goal to stay accountable: By stating your goal to a crowd, it does a few things: 1.) It forces you to first write down what you want to accomplish. 2.) Others see your goal, maybe they will even contribute towards it. 3.) It keeps you accountable. 4.) It puts pressure on you to finish. I am not extremely internally motivated, but rather externally motivated. So if I tell a crowd I'll do something, I'm WAY more likely to do it. For this reason I have been posting my goals online every month for 10+ years. It definitely helps keep me accountable: Hope you enjoyed these little tidbits, have a happy Friday and great October! Sincerely, Neville Medhora - [CopywritingCourse.com]() | [@NevMed]() [Unsubscribe]( | [Update your profile]( | 801 W 5th St. , Austin, TX 78703
