They grab the latest “hot” funnel template and try to shove every client into it like it’s some marketing Cinderella’s slipper. Spoiler alert: it rarely fits. So, let’s break down a logical approach to funnel matchmaking that’ll have you pairing clients with funnels faster than a speed dating event for entrepreneurs. Step 1: Understand Your Client’s Business Model Before you even think about funnels, you need to get cozy with your client’s business. Are they: • E-commerce selling physical products? • Info-product creators? • Service-based businesses? • SaaS companies? • Brick-and-mortar stores looking to expand online? Each of these models has different needs, sales cycles, and customer behaviors. An e-commerce store selling $20 t-shirts needs a very different funnel than a high-ticket consulting service. Step 2: Know Your Audience’s Temperature Next up, we need to gauge how “hot” the audience is.
