☀️ make hay while the sun is shining, yo!☀️ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ A flimsy digital scrap of paper anyone with a credit card can get. That's what most "certifications" are. And that's why we stopped offering certifications, outside of our high-touch, small group masterminds. (Which we haven't offered since 2019.) Because when I took a look at most of the certification programs that exist for marketers and copywriters, I was super-annoyed to find that: 😒 You don't need to show proof of completing any training to get certified. 😩 You don't need to submit any work for review. 🤬 You don't need to spend any time being mentored, coached or taught by the people who are certifying you. So, like, you could be a bot and get credentials to show off on LinkedIn. It's just... bananas. Because when *everyone* who buys X program gets certified in X thing, those certifications mean *nothing.* And, in turn, all certifications mean nothing. Not cool. So of course I decided to swing wildly in the opposite direction, retaliating with all my might against purchased credentials. Back in 2017, I decided that, to earn the title Certified Conversion Copywriter from yours truly, you needed to actively engage for six months in our mastermind, showing your work the whole time and attending all our meetings... And even then I certified less than 33% of those students. 😬 😳 😲 😬 😳 😲 So um maybe... Maybe... Maaaaybe that was taking it a little too far. With that in mind, I do believe we've finally landed on a happy medium. ✅ If you want to get properly certified so you can attract leads from SaaS companies and have the confidence to close them (because you KNOW you know what you're doing)... ✅ And if you want to be coached by moi along the way... ✅ While being held accountable to deadlines and an expectation of good performance and growth... ✅ In the company of other keeners (yay word nerds!)... [Come check out our new lightweight certification program, exclusively for copywriters that work with or want to work with SaaS / tech businesses.]( Enrolment is open this week only. Muchos love, jo :) PS: Our first group call is July 19. That's a full month away. To find out what you'll be doing between now and then, [you should go here](. PPS: Why the focus on SaaS? I started in tech and just completely luuurrrvvvv SaaS businesses. I also know that the appetite to hire great copywriters is strong in SaaS marketing teams and the agencies that serve them. Hence this certification. But yes - there will be other types of certifications coming. So if SaaS isn't for you, [take a break from my emails for the week...]( Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Wiebe Marketing Ltd dba Copyhackers, 200, 10158 103 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 0X6, Canada

Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
