Or why don't you charge *at least* that?

I presented my proposal: I'd write 6 pages for $27,000. The next day, he (the client) pinged me - could I hop on a quick call? On that call, he asked to add a seventh page. He didn't suggest we take one away. So I did. I said, basically, "We can add X, but we'll need to take away Y, which we probably should anyway as it's not a page designed for conversion, unlike X and the other ones."
He agreed. We kept the proposal at 6 pages for $27,000 - we just changed which pages I'd write. And as we nodded, in that happy little phase that's created as a negotation ends, he said - I'll never forget it - "Did I just get everything I wanted?" I said he did. I didn't mention that I, too, got everything I wanted. Here's what's important about that: First, we didn't even negotiate on price. How would that feel, if your leads didn't question your prices? Second, clients are very, very often looking for freelance copywriters who can do a stellar job writing NOT every single page but rather JUST the conversion-focused pages on their websites, like: ✅ Tour or Features pages ✅ Enterprise / Demo lead-gen pages ✅ Landing pages for social campaigns, links in bio and ads ✅ Pricing pages, and pages that feature their pricing table (like adwords landing pages) ✅ Industry-specific pages ✅ Product detail pages And of course: ✅ Persona-specific pages
✅ Category pages
✅ Home pages (aka your client's pride and joy - you wanna write this last, not first, because it is their baby) AKA everything you'll be able to write with [this training package](. And check this out: Almost without fail, even the newest copywriter can charge $500 to write a page. So a 10-page website can be a $5K project for someone who's brand spankin' new to conversion copywriting and writing for the web. At least, that's true if you know what you're doing + talking about. In that first and second call with your lead, you need to be able to coach them through the process of writing a website... not by telling them what to do (which you'll figure out [on-demand with my guidance]( but by asking the right questions, the kinds of questions that will become second nature for you to ask when you take [the training in this bundle](. Questions like: 👉 Which segment of your visitors is the best-fit for your solution? 👉 Talk me through your sitemap - help me understand the architecture. Why did you make the decisions you did? Which pages are your top converters? Which should be but aren't? 👉 How do you drive traffic to your site, primarily? Does your organization rank SEO above conversion, or vice versa? 👉 If you could have the website of any company on the planet, which would it be and why? That list is just the beginning. But - importantly - it's the RIGHT beginning in becoming the go-to copywriter for websites for your market or niche. And you know it's the right beginning not just because I'm saying so and I earn a minimum of $30K for any site I write 😊 but also because copywriters who are growing their businesses like gangbusters (based ENTIRELY on the training inside 10x Web Copy, 10x Landing Pages and 10x Pricing Pages) -- because THEY are saying so, too: Like freelance copywriter Eman Ismail, who is known for email but became way better way faster as a copywriter, with this training...
"As for 10X Landing Pages, I truly believe that if a copywriter took no other course but this one, they’d still gain the technical skills they need to be a successful copywriter." Like copywriter Sandy Pretzlaff, who became a believer with 10x Landing Pages...
"I’d never heard of "conversion" copywriting, but right away it made sense. Yes… more than anything I needed visitors and prospects to act. I wanted to learn how to do THAT. 10x Landing Pages was even better than I’d hoped. The "Over the Shoulder" videos were by far my favorite. Joanna walks you through what she sees on a website (and what you should look for). Then right in front of you she shows you how to fix the copy (applying the concepts from the video lesson). Everything from customer research to sticky copy is covered in the course."
Like agency founder Joshua Parkinson, who applied tweaks and rewrites for major wins...
"10x Landing Pages led to both pebble-sized changes with huge impact on subscriber rates, sales results, and connection with the right kinds of people... and runaway boulders that tore through lifeless copy completely turned around the campaign." And like freelance copywriter Julia Sexana, who used this training not just for clients but also for herself...
"I've written several landing pages, sales pages, and websites that my clients were thrilled about. I've also finally created my own website." For freelance copywriters... The lowest-hanging fruit in securing a better class of clients + delivering the goods that keep them coming back IS mastering how to write conversion copy for websites. That's where you need to start in your skill-building. [This bundle will teach you how.]( Put simply: [This is how to deliver exactly what your clients are praying you can deliver. You bring the leads and clients. And we'll teach you how to blow their socks off.]( ~jo PS: Let me express that I do love emails. The 'send' button is like a little lever you can pull to swiftly bring in sales -- so you can cover your kid's tuition bill, make payroll or just, y'know, feel a sense of control during the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. However. For every 1 business that's reached out to me to plan and write their emails, there are 5 that have asked me to plan and write their websites. We're talking: >> Primarily SaaS businesses and app developers - those are the ones that are ALWAYS working on their websites. >> But also high-end services, like legal teams and financial planners and healthcare - they're forever on the hunt for a better-converting site. >> And, every so often, ecommerce comes calling for help with their product detail pages (and most have lots of 'em). Of course, I'm not known for ecommerce copywriting, so it's fair that I get fewer leads for ecommerce than for SaaS and services. Which means if you are an email copywriter, you could actually acquire more email clients by ALSO saying yes to their requests that you write their site. [Come see if these 4 programs aren't the missing piece in your freelance copywriting toolkit.]( If they're not, nothing lost. And if they are, still nothing lost - [rather, potentially 1000s gained in the first weeks of implementation with your clients.]( Â [Click here to manage your subscriptions](
