Sunday, June 10 If your content isn’t working, consider yourself in sinking sand: be still or you will only sink faster. Remember, great content and great strategy take time. Give yourself that necessary time. When your content is sinking, pause to measure, evaluate, and research. When researching content, dream about the what if. Consume as much content as possible: read, watch, and listen. Discover all that is (and isn’t) possible keeping in mind your audience, industry, and resources. As far as research goes, I’ve spent years consulting the fountain of inspiration that is the world wide web. As a result, I have a good handle on what’s next. Thankfully, so do many other brands. Please, enjoy these lovingly collected examples of content inspiration. If you’re sure these proverbial vines won’t save you from your sinking situation, never fear: Jay and his team of brilliant marketers are [quick to the rescue](=). [Quality Breathes Life into Video](=) 🎥 Marketers often miss the mark when it comes to video. They believe scrappy-looking videos inspire authenticity and grit. However, in all instances, low-quality video reads as unprofessional and invisible. No more excuses! NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Series has a ten-year legacy of extraordinarily well-produced video and sound that inspires all the emotions we marketers strive to reproduce. Get close. Get personal. Offer the quality that makes your audience feel as though they are there with you. Side note: Who knew [T-Pain was so talented](=)? ⛓️ 📱 [Times Are a Changin'](=) Remember when we were terrified that news would die? The New York Times took this threat seriously and invested heavily in revolutionary multimedia storytelling (lest we forget [Snow Fall]()). Over the past few years, The Times has dominated. If you are looking for creative ways to educate through graphics, [look no further](=). 🔊 [See Sound]( If you haven’t noticed, I am a firm believer that the best content is nothing more than excellently told (or captured) stories: Radiolab is no exception. Podcasters everywhere can pull inspiration from Radiolab’s unique transitions, sound effects, and timing. Incorporating these creative elements tastefully is an art itself, but a boost in quality is always worth the time. {sponsor} 🌴 [Teamwork is Project Management Paradise]( This week on Marketing Marvels, we introduce you to a platform we use every day: Teamwork, a project management powerhouse that’s transformed how we collaborate at Convince & Convert.
