âIâve been following the site for a long time and witnessed the progress Diabetes.co.uk has made regarding low-carb. I have a very low tolerance for carbs so Iâve been almost ketogenic ranging at 20g of carbohydrates for the last 6 years. Iâm never without energy now Iâve reduced carbohydrates. Iâve learnt that you have to reduce carbohydrates low enough so that the body switches from using carbs as the default fuel to fats in order to fully benefit.â
