At Common Dreams, we make our moral stance perfectly clear. [Browser View](1f9d0/ct0_0/1?sid=TV2%3AMaiiEzppK) | 10/23/18 [] [Common Dreams Home Page] [] Dear Friend, As the world faces a choice between the forces of human decency and the forces of greed and exploitation, the Trump White House has made clear once more that it will take the latter, thank you very much. Today, the Trump administration published a report attacking democratic socialism and popular policies that would save countless lives—like Medicare for All—as akin to totalitarianism. The arguments were comically unsound, but the White House's fundamental point couldn't have been more clear: the profits of powerful corporations and rich CEOs trump all else, even when lives are on the line. At Common Dreams, we also make our moral stance perfectly clear. We believe in putting the health of the public over the profits of the for-profit insurance and drug industries, the survival of the planet over the bottom line of Big Oil, and the well-being of working families over the riches of corporate CEOs. The first vision, which Trump and his cronies are attempting to impose, is backed by the powerful and extraordinarily wealthy few. The second, which Common Dreams works each day to defend and uphold, is backed by the many—and it can only be achieved if we work together. As our Fall Campaign continues this week, can you help us sustain our work and [this fight for a better, more decent world?](1f9d0/ct1_0/1?sid=TV2%3AMaiiEzppK) There are more of us than them, and with your support, we can win a better world.
