But just days earlier, we saw Affirmative Action overturned for college admissions. 59 years later, and we can confirm race has and always WILL be a factor in the country built upon the constructs of white supremacy. This is why we fight to build Black political power and create a truly representative democracy — one that works for all Americans — and we hope you’ll agree with us when we say that this fight is more important than ever in 2023.
