If you’d like to unsubscribe, [click here.]( # # Primary Victories in Texas On March 1st, Texas held the first primary elections of the midterm election season and of our 16 endorsed candidates, 11 of them [advanced in their races]( by heading to run-off elections on May 24th or the general election in November. # March Endorsements During the month of March, The Collective PAC endorsed 26 candidates running for office, including: [Wes Moore]( for Governor of Maryland and JB Smiley Jr. for Governor of Tennessee, [four congressional candidates](, candidates running in [statewide races](, a slate of [candidates in Maryland]( and additional [state and local candidates]( across multiple states. # Our Collective Power, A Speaker Series The newest installment of our 2022 speaker series features two of our endorsed gubernatorial candidates; [Deidre Dejear]( and [Mia McLeod.]( These Black women are making history running for governor in Iowa and South Carolina. You can watch the full discussion [here.]( # #BetOnBlack, Candidate Video Series This week, The Collective PAC released its #BetOnBlack candidate video series designed to highlight our endorsed candidates by providing a glimpse into their campaigns and personal lives. Check out the video [here.]( We’re Building a Pipeline of Black Political Talent # As our nation and communities become increasingly multicultural and multi-racial, staff leading campaign messaging and strategy must also reflect the growing diversity of our electorate - and that requires intentionality. It is critical to have Black campaign leaders and staff who are familiar with the interests and needs of voters, and who can help Black candidates connect authentically with the communities they are working to represent. To this end, The Collective PAC is proud to have launched last month our Campaign Jobs Board to provide greater opportunities for diverse and dynamic talent to support and work with our endorsed candidates.
