Physically-based Bitcoin ETFs — where you would get a chance to invest in Bitcoin, rather than futures contracts for Bitcoin — are still waiting on U.S. approval. These physically-backed BTC ETFs have long been held up as one of the holy grails for getting more investors in the crypto markets. Unfortunately, every regulatory decision on the number of Bitcoin ETFs submitted for approval keeps getting delayed, pushed back, and delayed again.
