But that's what she's saying happened, after it was discovered that a press release photo of the princess and her three kids was digitally altered. The incident has the internet feeling a lot of different ways and has fueled a host of new conspiracy theories about the princess, but let's back up. How do you spot when a photo has been digitally altered or AI-generated? CNET's Ian Sherr [points out the telltale signs]( in the royal photo and offers his expertise about how to spot such editing. Soon, though, you may not need to worry about having such a critical eye.
