To me, it was beyond fitting. What do the next generation of smartphones and the new Mean Girls have in common? They both have to stay true to the things that make them beloved, while also making relevant updates to resonate with the next generation. We’ll hopefully see this in Wednesday's [Samsung Unpacked event]( where the new Galaxy S24 line will be unveiled. CNET’s Sareena Dayaram writes that the main attraction will be AI, especially with how it’s potentially integrated into the new devices. Samsung says [its generative AI model]( will “usher in a ‘new era of mobile AI.’” CNET will be on the ground in San Jose covering the event, and you can watch along with us [here](. While Samsung previewed a [dual folding design concept]( at CES last week, it’s unlikely we’ll get a new foldable Wednesday. But, watching Cady Heron and Aaron Samuels use their foldables was the perfect example of what our mobile experts have been saying -- that the next generation of smartphones is going to be [smarter, faster and more flexible](. -- Katelyn Chedraoui, writer INSIDER ESSENTIALS display:%20block;%20max-width:%20116px;%20%20max-height:%2015px; display:%20block;%20max-width:%2069px;%20%20max-height:%2015px; [Samsung Unpacked Event 2024: What to Expect and How to Watch]( [Samsung Unpacked Event 2024: What to Expect and How to Watch]( [Samsung's big event for its Galaxy S24 series launch is less than a day away.]( [See this]( [Climate Denial on YouTube Is Evolving.
