The real improvements are inside these systems, with Apple’s new line of M3 chips. To understand why these chips are a big deal, CNET computing expert Lori Grunin breaks it down for us. Essentially, these chips are faster, especially if you upgrade from a machine with an M1 chip. Grunin reports that the processors also have some of the advancements Apple displayed in the [A17 Pro chip]( in its new [iPhone 15 Pro and Max]( models.
