The Motorola Razr Plus Makes Flip Phones Cool Again

I don’t remember when I got my Razr, but I do remember that I was very impressed by its pretty shade of purple. I loved my purple phone so much that I bragged about it to all of my friends. Sure, they were getting Razrs too, but theirs were red, black or silver. No one else I knew had it in purple and this made me feel special -- like I was the only person in the world who had this phone. The color wasn’t the only appeal of the Razr. It seemed impossibly thin to me and I loved how easily it fit into my pocket. Flipping it open felt incredibly cool, as did dialing numbers on its smooth and futuristic keypad. Plus, it made this really fun noise -- somewhere between a thump and a click -- when you closed it back up after making a call. I think it even had some kind of access to the internet, but my parents never let me use it. I also think you could send text messages with it, but again, I wasn’t allowed to do that. No, my Razr was just for looking super cool while making necessary phone calls, and I couldn’t have been happier. As much as I love my [iPhone]( I long for the days when I could slip my small flip phone into my pocket. Now my phone is so large that it needs its own pouch in my purse. Luckily, Motorola just released an updated version of the Razr, called the [Razr Plus](. This modern flip phone does everything you’d expect from a phone in 2023, but when closed is a much smaller device that can fit just about anywhere.
