Notably, AI in fitness isn’t new. It’s been incorporated in fitness trackers, smart mirrors and Peloton for years. But now, its presence in the fitness industry is expanding. Its increased capabilities could help users achieve their health and wellness goals, from providing nutrition, sleep and workout tips to detecting ideal reps, speed, weight and form when weightlifting. Will this make personal trainers and nutritionists obsolete? Probably not, or at least not anytime soon.
