Team, when we say climate denier >> [Climate Power]( CLIMATE DENIER (noun) /cli·mate de·ni·er/ ‘klī-mǝt di- ‘nī(-ǝ)r One who denies the existence of the climate crisis or that it’s caused by pollution from the fossil fuel industry. Commonly, deniers are funded by Big Oil and spread disinformation to 1) delay climate solutions and 2) aid the Oil and Gas industry’s profits and escape accountability. Used in a sentence: Big-Oil-backed climate denier Donald Trump offered $110 billion in tax cuts for the Oil & Gas industry while asking for $1 billion in campaign donations. Team, It’s been more than a year of record-breaking heat. Communities across the country and worldwide are feeling climate and extreme weather, from smokey skies to flooding or school and camp closures due to extreme heat. The climate crisis is here, and we need climate leaders -- not a climate-denying dictator wannabe ready to do Big Oil’s bidding. Let’s be real, Donald Trump is the textbook definition of a climate denier. We simply cannot afford another Trump presidency. Tomorrow’s presidential debate will show exactly where the candidates stand. And only one climate leader will be on that stage. [Ahead of tomorrow’s debate, will you tell Vice President Kamala Harris you’re with her and voting for our future?]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( Here’s to voting for our freedoms and future, Climate Power [DONATE]( Climate Power 815 Black Lives Matter Plaza NW, Suite 4100 Washington, DC 20006 United States [CLIMATEPOWER.US]( | [INFO@CLIMATEPOWER.US](mailto:info@climatepower.us) Sent via [ActionNetwork.org](.
