Donald Trump has always put his Oil and Gas donors ahead of the wellbeing of the American people Hi there! What a debate. Last night, we had the opportunity to see President Biden and Donald Trump make their case for why they are the best leaders for our country. There were a lot of lies, hate, and contradictions on that stage, but when it came to his climate record, Donald Trump did not go unchecked. Not only did President Biden make it crystal clear that Trump has never done “a d*mn thing for the environment,” he made sure the American people know some of the more than 300 actions his administration has taken to tackle the climate crisis. To name only a few: protections for clean air and water, hundreds of thousands of clean energy jobs, and launching the American Climate Corps. [Team, the choice is clear. In a few months, we’ll choose between someone who doesn’t give a d*mn about the environment and the greatest climate president ever. Will you join me and commit to being a climate voter this November?]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( Just this week in Atlanta -- where the debate was held -- Atlantans sweltered in record-breaking temperatures, while May marked the 12th consecutive month of record heat across the country. And if Trump’s double dodge of the questions on the climate crisis were any indication, last night made one thing clear: Another Trump presidency would be disastrous. Trump has asked his Big Oil pals -- the biggest polluters and *cause* of the climate crisis -- to contribute $1 BILLION to his campaign. And he’s ready to help them secure $110 BILLION in tax breaks if he makes it back into the Oval Office. They’re already drafting executive orders to have ready for him to sign on Day 1. Climate is our candidate, and there was only one person on that debate stage who has proven over and over again (over 300 times to be exact) that they’re committed to fighting the climate crisis. And that’s Joe Biden. [Take the climate voter pledge today:]( [SIGN ON]( But every day, we’re fighting to make sure that doesn’t become a reality. With only 129 days to Election Day, we know November 5 feels far away, but it’s closer than we think. So, I wanted to take a moment to thank you. Thanks for being with us as we fight to protect our climate progress and secure our clean energy future. We couldn’t do this work without you. We’re taking a short break next week to celebrate Independence Day (and our progress toward energy independence from fossil fuels!). When we get back, this team is hitting the ground running, and we hope you’re with us every step of the way.
