WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO DISCOVER IN THE NEXT 7 MINUTES... - Setema Gali Jr’s advice on building a winner’s mindset - Cause marketing and how it could impact your business - How to respond to the objection “I don’t have the money.” - A funnel you don’t want to hack - The webinar tweak that won Kenneth Jensen a 2CC award HOW TO DEVELOP A WINNER’S MINDSET WITH SETEMA GALI JR When it comes to achieving success in business, your mindset is everything. This was something Setema Gali Jr., a former defensive lineman for the New England Patriots, learned the hard way. On the football field, Setema had the mindset that he was a strong, fast, and powerful player. His self-image was one of strength and invincibility, and it showed in his performance. However, transitioning into the business world, he faced a starkly different reality. He saw himself as less than his peers, feeling small and inadequate. This perception led to a lack of confidence and procrastination, worlds away from his days on the field. Step 1: Asking the Right Questions At Funnel Hacking Live, Setema shared how the transformation began when he started to question his self-image in the business domain. He asked himself, "Who would I have to become to achieve success in business?" Step 2: Speaking It Into Existence Once he knew who he had to be, he started speaking it into existence. He consciously replaced the negative image by reminding himself of who he needed to be. This practice of speaking positively about himself gradually reshaped his self-image, aligning it with his aspirations. Step 3: Visualizing Success Before long, just as he had seen himself as an unbeatable athlete, he started to envision himself as a successful entrepreneur. This mental shift was crucial. By visualizing himself succeeding in his business, Setema began to embody the confidence and determination he once held on the football field. Step 4: Acting the Part After affirming and visualizing the change, the resistance he had felt originally had subsided, and he started behaving like the business leader he envisioned. Each decision, interaction, and business move was made with the confidence and clarity of a successful entrepreneur. Many will avoid following these steps, saying it sounds kinda woo-woo… For those people, Setema had one more piece of gold… “You will always arrive at the destination in your head and heart first before you get there physically.” So, give this a try and see how it shifts your mindset. HOW TO USE CAUSE MARKETING TO AMPLIFY YOUR BUSINESS Cause marketing offers a unique opportunity for you to grow your business while making a significant social impact. By authentically aligning with relevant causes, you can harness the power of cause marketing to not only boost your bottom line but also contribute positively to society. A great example of this is TOMS Shoes. The company's 'One for One' initiative – donating a pair of shoes for every pair purchased – not only addresses a critical social issue but also builds a loyal customer base that values the brand's commitment to social responsibility. This initiative also provides TOMS with a wealth of customer-generated content that significantly grows the awareness of their brand and gains them trust and liking in the market without ever trying to sell their product. It also sets them apart in a big way and will often be what motivates a customer to buy from them instead of another brand. In short, integrating a social cause into their business model has yielded significant benefits, both for the community and the company. So, how can you do something similar? 1. Align With A Relevant Cause: Choose a cause that resonates with your brand values and mission. This could be something directly related to what you do or a cause that has had an impact in your life or someone you know. Then create an initiative that benefits them every time you make a sale. 2. Be Transparent and Authentic: Share your initiative in your marketing and be open about your contributions and the impact of your efforts. Authenticity fosters trust and strengthens your brand's credibility. 3. Engage and Involve Your Audience: When your customers make a purchase, let them know exactly how their purchase has made a difference. Share specific information about the impact their purchase has made and what sharing your initiative with their friends and family can do. 4. Leverage Storytelling: Gather up stories and share them in your marketing to illustrate the impact of your efforts. This will help you stand out and will attract a lot of people to your brand that may not have been interested otherwise. It may seem like a big move to make, but there are thousands and thousands of charities and non-profit organizations that would love to hear from you. And such a move will almost certainly open you up to a world of new ideas and motivations. TOP TIP FROM A TWO COMMA CLUB WINNER If you’re on your way to your first or next Two Comma Club Award and you’re thinking of using webinars to do it, this bit of gold from Kenneth Jensen is for you… Kenneth went the traditional route with his webinars and did well, but one change transformed everything for him. Over to Kenneth… How many times have you attempted to create a webinar but felt overwhelmed by all the components involved in the process? My very first webinar took me about a month to assemble - but hey, I earned $2,675 on my launch, yay! That means I officially made $60 per hour, except I spent most of that money on ads... But, at least I broke even. The point is, for most people, it takes a long time to put a webinar together before it goes live. But webinars are great, and I love using them as part of my marketing process because they help me qualify people on autopilot. In the first 10 weeks of my initial launch, my webinar generated $28,676 in revenue. After I made a couple more webinars, I picked up a new technique that made creating webinars easier. That new webinar just crossed a million dollars in revenue and qualified us for the Two Comma Club - so it's definitely worth learning the skills! So, here's the simple hack I used to win the 2CC award with webinars… I created a whiteboard webinar! Most people never launch their webinars because creating a '180-slide webinar' is a lot of work, and so many things can break. When you create a whiteboard webinar, however, you limit the places where your webinar can break. You focus your attention on the things that truly make a webinar great - the message and the stories. By concentrating on what you say in the webinar, it's easier to break your audience's false beliefs and help them have the epiphanies they need to feel confident in moving forward with you. I just created a new webinar, and I wrote everything in less than an hour! I was able to do that because I only needed the keywords to know which stories to tell and which points would best illustrate my concepts and frameworks. If you haven't launched a webinar yet, let January 2024 be the time to do it, and consider doing a whiteboard webinar. And if you want a framework for what to talk about in your webinar, here's the framework I used to put my new webinar together in less than an hour the other day: #1: THE BIG DOMINO STATEMENT If I can get (AUDIENCE) to believe that (NEW OPPORTUNITY) is key to (DREAM OUTCOME) and is only attainable through (YOUR METHOD/OFFER), then all other concerns and objections become irrelevant, and they have to give me money! #2: ORIGIN STORY: How you discovered the new opportunity. #3: PROBLEM #1: The main problem your audience has about your new opportunity. #4: SECRET #1: The story about framework #1 that solves problem #1. #5: FRAMEWORK #1: The step-by-step framework that solves problem #1. #6: PROBLEM #2: The main INTERNAL fear your audience has about succeeding with the new opportunity. #7: SECRET #2: The story about framework #2 that solves problem #2. #8: FRAMEWORK #2: The step-by-step framework that solves problem #2. #9: PROBLEM #3: The main EXTERNAL fear your audience has about succeeding with the new opportunity. #10: SECRET #3: The story about framework #3 that solves problem #3. #11: FRAMEWORK #3: The step-by-step framework that solves problem #3. #12: THE OFFER STACK: List out everything they get when working together with you and ask them to book a call. From here, you spend 15-20 minutes addressing all other objections or concerns your audience might have and provide a call to action every 3 minutes to encourage them to book a call with you. (THIS STEP IS SO CRITICAL!) Keep it simple. You only have room for keywords when shooting a whiteboard webinar, so make it short and precise. This forces you to focus on what matters and leave out all other fluff. I hope this helps. You can do this!” If you’re thinking, ‘I wonder if there will be groundbreaking tools, tips, and strategies like this shared in Two Comma Club Live?’ they are. …Lots of them. TRIVIA ANSWER The "Looking for Linda" campaign was, of course, by Virgin Atlantic. Did you find it hidden in the Funnel of the Week? In this campaign, Virgin Atlantic introduced "Linda," a fictional flight attendant who shared her global travel experiences. Participants were invited to guess Linda’s travel destinations and those who guessed correctly were entered into weekly contests to win tickets to various Virgin Atlantic destinations. One lucky participant even won two upper-class ticket upgrades. Linda even had her own Facebook page. That’s it for today! Join us back here on Monday because we’re going to share some insider gold from FHL, marketing angles few people have heard of, and so much more.
