Trivia question: In 1996, which soft drink company launched a unique marketing TRIVIA QUESTION In 1996, which soft drink company launched a unique marketing campaign where they randomly placed GPS devices in cans, promising to track winners down and deliver their prize? And you want this to work even if they delete their cookies!... Countdown funnels are the answer you’ve been waiting for. So [click here]( and Russell will show you exactly how they work and how to start using them. 3 COGNITIVE BIASES TO BOOST WEBINAR SALES Webinars are a powerful way to sell your products or services, but to make them work, you need a great framework and the ability to persuade your viewers to buy. One of the most effective ways to persuade your viewers is to tap into their cognitive biases. While biases like reciprocity and scarcity are widely known, there are 3 lesser-known cognitive biases that can be equally effective. Let’s dive into them: 1. The Halo Effect: Creating a Positive First Impression The Halo Effect says that if you create a strong, positive first impression on your webinar, attendees are more likely to view the entire webinar more favorably. To trigger the Halo Effect, try the following: Professional Introduction: Start your webinar with a strong, professional introduction to establish credibility and likability. Some hosts even have an ‘assistant’ open the webinar and introduce them before coming on camera. High-Quality Visuals: Have either a plain or professional background and use visually appealing slides to create a positive impression. Dress the part: As Sandy Dumont once said, “Dress for immediate credibility and success will follow.” 2. The Authority Bias: Establishing Credibility The Authority Bias is the tendency to attribute greater accuracy to the opinion of an authority figure. In webinars, positioning yourself or your speakers as experts can significantly influence attendees' trust and acceptance of the information presented. Showcase Credentials: Highlight your qualifications and experience early on in the webinar. Expert Insights: Share the thoughts and lessons of industry experts or well-known figures in your webinars to lend credibility. 3. The Mere-Exposure Effect: Familiarity Breeds Liking The Mere-Exposure Effect is the phenomenon by which people develop a preference for things merely because they are familiar with them. Repeated exposure to you and your brand before and during the webinar can increase attendees' affinity towards it. Indoctrination sequence: Send registrants indoctrination emails sharing exciting details from the webinar ahead. This will increase familiarity with you and improve show-up rate. Repeated Branding: Incorporate your brand elements consistently throughout the webinar to reinforce brand recognition. Frequent Mention of Product/Service: Reference your product or service in various contexts throughout the webinar. As mentioned, the second crucial element to hosting a powerful webinar is the framework you follow. The most successful framework available today is Russell’s [Perfect Webinar]( The Perfect Webinar is a simple, proven webinar framework that has turned hundreds of entrepreneurs into 'Two Comma Club' winners! A BUSINESS LESSON FROM ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST SUCCESSFUL ARTISTS Vincent van Gogh Immersive Experiences have been popping up all over the world recently. We'd heard van Gogh's 'Verger avec cyprès' sold for $117.2m last year, so assumed he must have done pretty well for himself while alive. The truth is, van Gogh only sold one painting while he was alive, and that was for 400 francs (which, after a lot of searching online, is roughly $2,287 in today's money.) The painting was called The Red Vineyard. This is it: However, since his death, 10 of his paintings have sold for a total of $721.3 million. That's not including reprints or any other merchandise. Factoring in all van Gogh-related sales, he has likely sold over $1 billion worth of goods. So, how is it possible he was only able to sell $2000 worth during his lifetime? After doing a little research, the answer became obvious. Most of the fascination around van Gogh can be traced back to the work of one woman: Jo van Gogh-Bonger, his sister-in-law. After van Gogh's death, Jo devised a marketing strategy to garner the interest of collectors, museums, critics, and the public. She's the reason his work took off. In short, van Gogh only sold one painting because he was an expert at painting, not marketing. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense that van Gogh wouldn't be an expert in marketing. Marketing is an art all unto itself. Assuming he would be good is like saying because a person is good at math, they must naturally be good at cooking. Van Gogh was likely blind to this and didn't see the success his work deserved because of it. This is also true for many new entrepreneurs and business owners. A successful funnel requires expertise in four areas:  1. Your field   2. Marketing  3. Copywriting  4. Funnel design If your business isn't having the success it deserves, it's because one or more of these is dragging it down. The only way to fix it is to either down tools and spend 1-5 years studying that area OR hire an expert to come in and work their magic today. Luckily, we’ve built an entire marketplace filled with ClickFunnels experts! Whether you need a funnel builder trained by Russell and his team, a professional copywriter to increase conversions, or someone to design an eye-catching logo, we have all of them on the [Funnel Builder Marketplace](. FUNNEL OF THE WEEK For the funnel of the week, we thought, who better to hack than one of the world’s top copywriters? The funnel is for Dan Kennedy’s book, ‘The Ultimate Sales Letter’ (highly recommended if you haven’t read it). You know this funnel is going to be filled with creative copy and powerful persuasion.
