Edward was behind on his bills, over $200k in debt, and two debt collectors had come to take away his car. Cut to today… Edward has multiple successful businesses, over 2 million followers across social media platforms, and is changing people's lives every day. So, how did he do it? The Key To Accelerated Success After the two men had left, Edward found himself looking in the bathroom mirror, “I can remember looking at myself and saying, Edward, what are you doing because whatever you're doing is just not working.” At that moment, he decided that enough was enough. You have to commit to it. “I had full-force resistance, but I'm like, all this guy has achieved, I'm gonna listen to what he says. “So, starting in January 2022, I made a commitment I was going to post every single day without fail. No matter what.” Pivoting When Things Aren’t Working As Hoped After posting consistently, Edward and his team weren’t seeing the results they wanted… “The content I was posting was pretty much what others told me to. My content was all over the map, so I needed to make a change. “I had done a couple of reaction videos before. It wasn't a lot, but those were the ones that were getting the most views, and my followers were sending us reels from other content creators asking us for my reaction. “So I said to my director of implementation, Jose, just pick some of the content that was sent in and load it on a phone. “After watching it, I just put the phone down, and I literally just spoke from my heart, based on my own knowledge that I've accumulated over two and a half decades. No scripting at all. “I didn't know this until the next day, and they were like, we got something like 4,000 new followers from that post, and I'm like, okay, we're doing that!” That new style led to him getting 500,000 followers in three months. Edward’s #1 Takeaway From FHL 2023 “Garrett White got on stage and was talking about the facilitator method. That was awesome. “I become a bit of a bottleneck because I'm only one human being. I have other people obviously on my team, other amazing human beings who are so brilliant and add value to those we serve, but a lot of people want to hear from me. It's only 10 words: “Free cash flow greater than your daily needs and wants. “That's financial freedom, right? It's just having more cash flow than your burn rate, what you're spending to live life. “If you have that, you are financially free.” Invest in Assets Over Liabilities “One of the fundamental core foundational principles is knowing the difference between assets and liabilities. “An asset is something that you control, which generates cash flow for you. If it does not generate cash flow for you, by my definition, it's not an asset. And anything that takes money from you is a liability. “Most people will spend their time, which is their most valuable commodity, and they'll trade that time in order to get a dollar. What I find so confounding is that they use that dollar to buy liabilities.” Time is Far More Valuable Than Money, Spend It Wisely "Let's say for a moment I'm going to write you a check for $10 million. I guarantee you it will clear. How would you feel if I did that? Pretty good, right? But here's the caveat… “You can't wake up tomorrow or ever again. “All of a sudden, it is worthless because just waking up is infinitely more valuable than a $10 million check. What if it was $100 million or a billion dollars? “Time is infinitely valuable. So if you're trading your time to earn a dollar that is the most expensive dollar you've ever bought right? Or, spending an hour or two with Netflix at night rather than an hour or two with a book like DotCom Secrets or Expert Secrets that can literally transform your life.” Value Creation Leads to Wealth: “I am an unapologetic capitalist because it gives the power to the people to understand exactly how money works. “Money is simply a byproduct of value creation.
