They tap into core human emotions and drives, which can be incredibly powerful in motivating people to take action. Here are 6 of his top psychological triggers you can use to elevate your copy: 1. Emotional Pain: Pain points drive people to seek solutions. By highlighting the discomfort and the problems your audience is facing, you can position your product as the solution they've been seeking. Example: "Tired of feeling invisible in meetings? Our public speaking course will ensure your voice is heard and respected." 2. Anger: Anger can be a catalyst for action. If your product addresses a source of frustration, tapping into that anger can motivate a purchase. Example: "Furious at being overcharged for basic services? Switch to our platform, where fairness and transparency come standard." 3. Mystery: Humans are naturally curious. Creating a sense of mystery can intrigue prospects and lead them to engage with your content to find out more. Example: "What's the secret ingredient to doubling your sales in just 30 days? Sign up to uncover the strategy that's been hidden from the public eye." 4. Revenge: The desire to prove others wrong can be a strong motivator. If your product helps customers to ‘win’ or succeed against the odds, this trigger can be very effective. Example: "They said you'd never make it on your own. Show them how wrong they are with our business startup toolkit." 5. Fear and Insecurity: Fear can provoke a desire for security. By highlighting risks and showing how your product can alleviate them, you can prompt decisive action. Example: "Don't let a single data breach ruin your life. Our cybersecurity software keeps your personal information locked away from prying eyes." 6. Greed or Sloth: The desire for more (greed) or for ease (sloth) can drive people to seek out products that promise increased gains or decreased effort. Example for Greed: "Want to join the ranks of the financially independent? Our investment tools can help you grow your wealth effortlessly." Example for Sloth: "Imagine losing weight without ever leaving your couch. Our diet plan delivers results without the gym." PEDRO ADAO’S SECRET TO BUILDING A CHALLENGE PEOPLE ARE EAGER TO JOIN Being the challenge guy, Pedro Adao is often asked how to run a successful challenge. According to his excellent book ‘Challenge Secrets’, “9 times out of 10, when someone’s challenge doesn’t go as well as they hoped, it’s because their challenge didn’t have a big idea.” The big idea should be the driving force behind the challenge. The hooks, headlines, stories, and daily training should all flow from the big idea. If you’re looking to launch your first challenge (or get even better results on your next) and aren’t sure how to come up with your big idea, Pedro’s ‘Big Idea Framework’ will help: 1. The Biggest Problem What is the biggest problem your customers know they have? If they already know they have this problem, designing a challenge that speaks directly to overcoming it will get and keep their attention. 2. The Biggest Desire What does your customer want most? What is their big dream or desire? Creating a challenge that helps them achieve it will naturally be very exciting to them. As a bonus tip, more often than not, what they think they want is just the tip of the iceberg. What is the deeper desire, the deeper why behind their dream? Do they want to become a millionaire just to have a large number in their bank account, or is it so they can give their son or daughter a life they never had? 3. The New Approach You know as well as anyone, unique, fresh, new approaches to solving a problem or reaching a goal excite us. What’s your new approach that outperforms the old ways, that bridges the vital gaps other methods don’t? 4. The Sexy Step The sexy step is that one step or part of your process that all of your prospective customers obsess over. Maybe it’s the most fun and exciting part of your framework or where they struggle the most. In a ‘Sexy Step’ challenge, instead of covering the whole framework, you go deep into this one step for the whole duration. 5. Special Timing Is there anything happening in your culture right now that you can use to create urgency and relevance to your challenge? Could you build a challenge around Christmas, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Back to School, Valentine’s Day, etc? This is just one of 15 secrets in Pedro’s book. If you want to master challenges, then you should check out Russell and Pedro’s [Challenge Secrets Masterclass here]( The next challenge is starting in 3 days. In it, they will walk you, step-by-step on how to build a highly successful challenge funnel - whether that’s for you, your business, or your clients’ businesses. …and then give you the funnel template for free! FUNNEL OF THE WEEK While we’re on the topic of Challenge funnels, the funnel this week is Pedro’s funnel for his upcoming Challenge Secrets Masterclass. This funnel has no doubt been designed based on countless tests, making it a great funnel to hack! Take a look at the funnel [here](.
