Scientists to Use “Superman” Genes for General Public?
Alex Reid | June 08, 2020 | Baltimore, MD
Hi y’all!
Alex Reid here with your Monday roundup.
If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?
Most children would love to read minds, soar through the air with a cape, or scale skyscrapers with ease.
But we’ve long left those fairy tales behind us.
When it comes to adulthood and health, your idea of a superpower might be different.
As we get older, we start to cherish the little things… like taking a walk around the park with no achy knees or back… spending quality time with grandchildren… or having your doctor give you a clean bill of health.
Folks simply just want to live happily.
So, if I asked you today to pick something that would make your life “super,” you might desire...
- Immortality
- Non-stop energy
- Immunity to all disease
Who doesn’t want to be as happy and healthy as possible for as long as possible?
That’s why this research got my attention.
Scientists made an interesting discovery in the Himalayas…
One that could turn a “superman” gene into treatment for us normal humans.

Your body makes less of this crucial nutrient every year — here’s what to do
Every single day your body produces less collagen — and that’s a big problem! Collagen makes up 75% of your skin, 80% of your joints, tendons, and ligaments… and 90% of your hair, nails, and bones. Fortunately, new research shows that supplementing with the right type of collagen can address all these issues, giving you the potential to look and feel years younger! Learn more about what the right type is — and how you can take advantage today, when you [CLICK HERE NOW](.
Far off in the high altitudes of the Nepali Himalayas, you can find the Sherpa people.
When the human body is at severely high altitudes, it becomes difficult to function.
Blood oxygen levels begin to drop, and it may even become harder to breathe.
This is what makes the Sherpa people so fascinating…
Despite very low blood oxygen levels, they are able to “lead healthy, active lives.”
And scientists attribute this ability to a variant gene they carry.
Some may call it a “supergene,” as it allows them to thrive in conditions that would hinder most humans.
Bloomberg Businessweek reports:
Where other people in high altitudes have adapted to boost their oxygen to typical levels over time, the Sherpa have gene variants that let them live in what should be a hypoxic, or oxygen-starved, state.
Geneticist Stephane Castel adds, “They don’t suffer any ill health effects… It’s incredible.”
For this reason, his startup, Variant Bio, is determined to sequence people’s DNA in order to unlock all of the desirable traits folks might want…

Like a real-life “limitless” pill?

For most of history, doctors and scientists said it was impossible to create new brain cells. So once your memory was gone, it was gone. But they were wrong. Thanks to a [new type of “brain fuel”]( that can build plump, fresh, new brain cells and restore razor-sharp memory.
Imagine having a superior metabolism, eyesight, or immune response.
With this data, Variant Bio co-founder Castel desires to synthesize drugs and other therapies that would allow the common folks access to these superior genetic traits.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg in Castel’s quest through the genetic pool.

Castel isn’t the only one trying to unlock nature’s secrets in the Himalayas.
For over 4,000 years, a hidden plant laid within the valleys of the Himalayas…
But no longer does this plant remain a mystery.
In fact, over 1,300 studies from prestigious medical journals (like The American Journal of Medicine and The Lancet) have confirmed:
[This plant may in fact be the “Fountain of Youth.”](
To your health,
