Hi there, Clash Nation, Just dropping a quick line to touch base with everyone. We have launched our 'normy' news site over at ClashNews as a compliment to our usual spicy ClashDaily site. And it seems to be off to a modestly good start early on. As some of you already know, we've settled on 'Early Edition' as a signature feature for the new site, in which any reader can pick up a quick summary of 5 news stories that not everyone will be talking about, it includes a mix of domestic and international stories. They are published on weekdays some time before 9 am Eastern. Usually closer to 7. It's still written from a right-leaning perspective, but posts over there are more 'news' and less partisan than the rest. You can find that (not to mention other stories from both sites) on ClashDaily's social media channels. Wimkin: Clash Daily News [Clash Daily News]( TruthSocial: @WesWalker Not only is our new site a way to beat big tech censors at their own game and still get news that contradicts mainstream narratives out there, but it does more than that. 1) It helps our side avoid the trap of being locked in a conservative echo chamber news bubble. 2) It gives us an apolitical starting point in conversations with workmates and acquaintances about current events in the news cycle. After all, not everything is politics, but relationships are everything. If we can have ordinary sane conversations, we can build the kind of relationships that will get us past our political differences. That's a step toward change and reclaiming the nation. 3) It gives you a resource you can share/point others to even if they might run screaming from our ClashDaily site like a vampire who'd been splashed with holy water. (Obviously, we're hoping you read and share it.) But we're hoping to be more than just a news source. We're hoping to create a space to build community. We haven't quite settled on which model we will use, but we're hoping to grow this into something that could function like the best parts of those old Facebook groups, where people could get together, kick ideas around, and swap jokes/memes while working together in holding the line to defend old-school American values against the activist left. There'd be one big difference: we'd do it without living in a world where old Zuckerberg can pull the plug if he doesn't like what we're saying. We (Karen and I) are co-editors for the daily content, and we welcome feedback both on the websites, and on the things we talk about here. For now, the best place to reach us would be by way of Twitter.: Wes (me): @republicanuck Karen: @theMrsKnowItAll One last thing to mention before I let you go (besides thank you for reading). Our next email will feature a Valentine's special. We might even feature a new product or two if we can get it ready in time. Naturally, we will give the rowdies in ClashNation's email list a unique promo code as a thank-you for keeping up with our emails. Until next time, Stay Rowdy!
