August 24, 2023, will go down as a historic day for America. - Yesterday, Donald Trump was booked in Fulton County, Georgia, on charges that he (and others) committed multiple crimes in an attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the Peach State. - Trump was assigned an inmate number (P01135809). - And his mug shot was taken (it’s everywhere by now). Donald Trump has achieved something no other president — in the entire 247-year history of our country — was able to accomplish: Having his mug shot taken as a criminal suspect. Trump is so narcissistic that he may actually take some perverse pride in this ignominious distinction.
