To: <{EMAIL}> {NAME}, After a midterm full of successes for Democrats â holding the Senate; winning in Georgia, RI-01, and other close races; keeping Republican gains in the House to a minimum â my team and I are now looking ahead to the new year. When we close the books on 2022, I want to make sure we're ready to hit the ground running when the new Congress is sworn in next month. The GOP will have a narrow majority in the House, and we've learned in recent years that countering extremist rhetoric is most effective when it's done quickly in real-time. That's why I'm planning ahead to make sure we stay on track to hit our fundraising goal on the Dec. 31st FEC deadline.
