Marriage equality is officially federal law!

{NAME}, Today, President Biden signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law! This law is a monumental win in the fight for LGBTQ+ equality and solidifies our right to marry who we love. I'm immensely proud to have been a co-sponsor of the bill and to have led the Equality Caucus' efforts to pass it. I want to thank Rep. Nadler and Sen. Feinstein for introducing this vital legislation, President Biden for his vocal support, and the over 180 other co-sponsors who contributed to this effort. Our work does not stop here, but this is a big step forward that deserves celebration. For the first time in a decade, we've passed major LGBTQ+ rights legislation into law — and marriage equality is now protected under federal law.
