One settlement was for $5 million. (Associated Press, The Chronicle) COLLEGE ON THE EDGE [Bacone College Is Spared From Auction, but Future Remains Uncertain]( The Oklahoma college had faced a sheriffâs auction this week over an unpaid $1.5-million bill from a contractor that had done work on the campus.
