[Poverty.]( The Catholic Campaign for Human Development, established by U.S. Catholic bishops, offers grants of $25,000 to $75,000 to groups led by low-income people working to break the cycle of poverty and improve their communities. The campaign’s community-development grants nurture participation by low-income people in changing structures and policies that affect their lives; economic-development grants support institutions that include the voice of the poor and marginalized in developing new businesses, jobs, and locally owned assets.
