FACULTY PAY [AAUP Reports Third Consecutive Year of Decreasing Wages for Faculty Members]( In preliminary data from its annual Faculty Compensation Survey, the American Association of University Professors said average salaries for full-timers grew 4.1 percent, the largest jump since 1990-91, but when inflation is taken into account, those average salaries dropped 2.4 percent.
