On Saturday, the men’s basketball team will play at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and the women’s team will host the University of Maryland. Lays Off 110 Faculty and Staff Members]( The layoffs, announced on Thursday, come as part of a larger restructuring for the Catholic institution in Florida. [Facing a Housing Shortage, Cal Poly Humboldt Considers Having Students Live on a Barge]( Enrollment had fallen for years, but after the university rebranded last year as a polytechnic institution, applications spiked upward. Officials initially said this month that campus housing in the fall would be reserved exclusively for new freshmen and transfer students, but that plan was discarded following protests.
