He has pledged to fully fund construction and a $400 million endowment.
[Eric Trump Foundation to Continue, Without Eric Trump:] The president-elect's son, who initially announced plans to suspend his charity's operations during his father's administration, told The Washington Post he has decided instead to step down from the foundation, which will continue raising money for pediatric-cancer research under a new name.
[Unusual Gift to Yield Estimated $28 Million for Boston Foundation:] The grant maker is slated to receive a share of the proceeds from the sale of Curriculum Associates, a Massachusetts education-technology company that is effectively donating itself to the charity, according to The Boston Globe.
[FBI Suspects Single Source for Wave of Jewish-Charity Bomb Threats:] The "robocalls" to 16 Jewish community centers in nine eastern and southern states Monday may have originated from one phone number and been placed using an automated calling system, writes Reuters. Some of the centers were evacuated, but there were no attacks or injuries.
