The students, who were wearing Jewish skullcaps while walking on the campus on Friday night, suffered âsuperficial lacerationsâ from the broken bottle. Resolves Antisemitism Complaint at U. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign]( According to the departmentâs Office for Civil Rights, the university [inadequately responded]( to 135 reported incidents of antisemitic bias and four of anti-Muslim, anti-Palestinian, or anti-Arab bias from 2015 through 2023, in particular whether they cumulatively created a hostile climate.
