The plaintiff in the case is a 13-year-old transgender girl who takes puberty-blocking medication and has publicly identified as a girl since the third grade. Freshman Dies After Being Struck by Car Driven by Faculty Member]( Mohamed Samura, a computer-information-systems major from Fredericksburg, Va., died on Monday, four days after the crash, which happened on the universityâs Washington, D.C., campus. The faculty member, who suffered minor injuries, has not been identified.
