They seek to “bury the truth”

And we can’t let them get away with it. {NAME}, President Biden’s State of the Union address on Thursday night was a rallying cry for all of us: stand up and fight for America, for truth, and for each other.  “My predecessor and some of you here seek to bury the truth of January 6th,” Biden said. That phrase, “and some of you here” is extraordinary, and exactly the kind of full-court press fighting attitude we must adopt this year if we are to defeat Trump and Trumpism across the country.  Defeating Trump is not enough—we must replace the extremists obstructing compromise and progress in Congress, too. In the Navy, I learned the importance of confronting our challenges straight on, with honesty, courage, and integrity.
