I am officially the nominee to take on Troy Balderson in OH-12. {NAME}, Now that I am officially the Democratic nominee for Ohio’s 12th Congressional District, the stakes in this race and throughout Ohio are enormous.  The Republican Party here is veering toward electoral disaster, and they don’t even know it. Extremists like Bernie Moreno, who is fiercely anti-LGBTQ+ but has been credibly accused of having a personal account on the casual sex website Adult Friend Finder seeking “Men for 1-on-1 sex.” (The hypocrisy is the problem—I stand for equality and the freedom to love who you love openly and without discrimination or bigotry.) Both Moreno and my opponent Troy Balderson are also zealous anti-abortion extremists and believe that life, in a legal and criminally enforceable sense, begins at “conception”, although neither could define conception if asked. Both support a national abortion ban, a top priority for Donald Trump, from whom they take their orders.  I stand for choice. I stand for equality and freedom. And I won’t tolerate these bigots and hateful hypocrites who would impose their repressive morality on all of us simply because they can.  I will fight for our values and for democracy and truth in Congress.
