Chrissy Houlahan for U.S. Congress. A NOTE FROM CHRISSY: With less than 100 days until Election Day, I've been spending time connecting with voters in Pennsylvania. It's always an honor to hear from you, and I appreciate you sharing the issues that matter to you most. As we move full speed to the finish line, I want to catch you up on what my team and I have been working on the last month:]( [MODERNIZING K-12 STEM EDUCATION: I firmly believe that Americans should have access to quality, affordable education. That's why I introduced the Mathematical and Statistical Modeling Education Act, which aims to modernize the teaching of K-12 STEM courses. As a teacher and co-founder of the Congressional Women in STEM Caucus, I know firsthand how vital these skills are in preparing the next generation to perform cutting-edge research and further our nation's scientific enterprise. I'm happy to share that the House passed my bill with broad bipartisan support. [READ MORE]]( [DELIVERING ON PROMISES: I was proud to vote for the Inflation Reduction Act, which will have a terrific impact on Pennsylvania families. It lowers the costs of health care and prescription drugs. It makes CRUCIAL investments in clean energy, which create jobs and lower our utility bills. And it does this while lowering the federal deficit.](#) [OUR 64TH TOWN HALL: To date, I have held more town halls than any member of the Pennsylvania delegation - and I have no plans of slowing down! Hosting town halls is one of the best ways for me to hear from you about what's important and to share what I've been working on. Last week, we focused on inflation, which is a critical issue facing our community. If you were not able to join, you can click here to listen to the recording.]( [DEFENDING REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOMS: With the overturning of Roe v. Wade, it's become clear that certain rights and protections we trusted were settled law are, instead, up for grabs. I was pleased to see my colleagues, both Democrats and Republicans, vote to protect marriage equality and access to contraception. Congress must act now before the Supreme Court reverses more of its previous decisions, putting more lives and more families at risk.](#) [A STEP CLOSER TO OUR SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTION: Our district is not only home to multiple semiconductor manufacturers, but we have some of the best manufacturers in the world right here in Pennsylvania. So I'm excited to say that the CHIPS and Science Act passed the House 243-187, and it's now been signed into law. The bill will support domestic chip production, grow our STEM workforce, bolster domestic 5G capabilities, and expand cutting-edge research and development through the National Science Foundation. I'm proud of this legislation and will continue to reach across the aisle for the good of our community, Commonwealth, and country. [READ MORE]]( [I hope you were as excited about these updates as I was about sharing them with you. The incredible progress we're making for our district isn't possible without the support of people like you, so thank you. I'm eager to bring you more good news from my office as we continue to fight for change in PA-06 and across the nation. Until then, please do not hesitate to contact our office with any issues you would like to discuss. There is work to be done. - Chrissy. We have fewer than 100 days until Election Day. With so much hanging in the balance - from voting rights to reproductive freedom - holding the line in key races like PA-06 is our last defense against our MAGA radical opponent who is working to take our district backward. Chrissy will need all the resources she can get to fight back and win. So we need to ask: Will you make a donation to help reelect Chrissy to Congress? Your support will make such a difference in our work to defend this seat and keep the House blue.]( Chrissy Houlahan for Congress P.O.
