Hi {NAME} – it's Shane, Chrissy’s campaign manager. I know we're all still reeling from the Supreme Court's devastating decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, taking away abortion rights from millions. Moving forward, we have our work cut out for us to restore the right to an abortion. So I'm reaching out today to tell you why I'm concerned about Chrissy's opponent Guy Ciarrocchi, an anti-choice Republican who has pushed for decades to overturn Roe v. Wade. He has even lobbied to restrict women from making their own personal reproductive health decisions. And now he got his way – there is government-mandated pregnancy in states across our country. While Pennsylvanians are protected now, there’s no guarantee it’ll continue. The GOP-controlled legislature is trying to put on the ballot a constitutional amendment to eliminate the right to abortions. What’s more, the GOP gubernatorial nomineee, Doug Mastriano, is calling for bans with ZERO exemptions, and Republicans in Congress are pushing for a nationwide abortion ban. The battle is real, and right now, we have to fight to protect our rights. We know that Ciarrocchi has called for Roe v. Wade to be overhauled – and now that his wish has been granted and dangerous proposals are advancing across our country and in our Commonwealth, all we've gotten from him is radio silence. Well, his silence speaks volumes, {NAME}. On the other hand, Chrissy – a mom, teacher, and veteran – has spent her time in Congress advocating for women, making sure they have the fundamental right to make their own health decisions. And she'll continue to do that when we reelect her – but first we have to win in November. If Chrissy loses reelection, we can expect her opponent to join the dangerous Republican push for more and more aggressive abortion bans. We can stop them. We have to stop them. That's why I'm asking, please donate $5 to help us keep PA-06 blue and Chrissy in Congress so we can continue to fight for our most fundamental rights.
