Tonight, the Republican presidential candidates will descend on Milwaukee for their first nationally-televised debate. [U.S. Senator Chris Murphy] ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Senator Murphy is working hard to win not just his own race but to re-elect his colleagues to hold our majority. So we’re sharing a special request from Sen. Tammy {NAME} ahead of tonight’s Republican presidential debate in Wisconsin. Thank you for your support. --------------------------------------------------------------- Hi there, it’s Tammy {NAME}. Tonight, the Republican presidential candidates will descend on Milwaukee for their first nationally-televised debate. Wisconsin is the premier battleground state in this critical election, and the GOP is laser-focused on putting every possible resource into flipping our state — and my Senate seat — red. Let me explain: Wisconsin’s 10 electoral votes were the tipping point in the last two presidential elections. Our state put Joe Biden over the top in 2020 and tipped the presidency to Donald Trump in 2016. Both elections were decided by less than 1% — that’s about 20,000 votes. Last year’s Senate race in Wisconsin was also decided by a razor-thin margin. Republicans won by 1% after spending a record $77 million to defend GOP Sen. Ron Johnson. If we can win those 20,000 votes, the White House and the Senate majority are virtually guaranteed to stay in Democratic hands. But if we lose those critical votes next November, Republicans will have their best shot at flipping both. Those are the stakes in Wisconsin. Election experts are already calling us “the tipping point state,” “the most pivotal of all the battlegrounds,” “a potential decider,” “the indispensable state,” and “the most fiercely contested partisan battleground in the nation.” With Wisconsin’s 10 electoral votes in play again and the Senate majority up for grabs, national Republicans are going all-in to win in our state — starting with the first GOP debate tomorrow and the Republican National Convention next summer. The GOP will throw everything they have into defeating me and flipping Wisconsin red, and I’m fighting back as hard as I possibly can. But I cannot do it alone. [Will you split a donation between my campaign and Chris Murphy’s reelection ahead of tonight’s first GOP debate in Milwaukee to help us keep Wisconsin blue in 2024? With the White House and the Senate majority riding on the outcome in our state, we cannot afford to come up short. You can donate right here to help us win:]( If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately as a split donation between Chris Murphy and Tammy {NAME}: [Express Donate: $5]( [Express Donate: $35]( [Express Donate: $50]( [Express Donate: $100]( [Express Donate: $250]( [Or donate another amount]( The path to victory for Democrats runs right through Wisconsin, and any contribution you can give will keep me out on the campaign trail talking to voters across the state. It’s going to take all of us pitching in to win — I'm up to the task, and I'm hoping I can count on you to join me.
