I plan to spend a lot of time on the road campaigning for my friends in tossup races all across the country. And there’s no doubt they are facing some of the toughest races of their career this year. It’s going to take more work than ever to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, hold the Senate and take back the House. In the Senate, our majority is razor thin. We’re playing defense in too many seats — while Republicans are almost entirely on offense. And their super PACs are planning to spend record-breaking sums. I know what it’s like to run a Senate race with billionaires and special interests spending tens of millions to defeat you. I wouldn’t be in the Senate today if my friends and colleagues hadn’t been there for me. It’s humbling to have so many people be with you in the trenches.
