Read this blog post on [chrislema.com](=) A couple of years ago, a group of us decided to co-work together in San Diego – a house on the beach. It was an idea my friend [Justin]() created, called BeachPress. We rented a house with tons of rooms, right on the sand, and invited everyone to just keep working on what they'd been doing – but do it together. As an organizer of this particular event, one of the things I remember most was the instruction binder for how to end our stay. Yes, it was a binder. With several pages. Here's what you do with the towels. Here's what you do with the bed sheets. Don't just take them to the laundry room, please start a load. Here's what you do with the trash. Here's what you do with the windows and drapes. Here's what you do with the dishes. The list took a couple hours to accomplish – with several people working concurrently. All so we could leave. All so I didn't lose a security / cleaning deposit. Wander is Completely Different In [my last post]() I told you about my decision to change jobs, and that I was processing all of this in a Wander home in Bandon Dunes, Oregon. [Wander]() rented me one of their homes, which [they recently wrote about](=). In the interview that led to that write up, they asked what I was delighted by. And I told them the email with departure instructions was the best. It said, “Make sure to take your stuff.” That was it. No laundry. No dishes. No towels. Just make sure to take your stuff. Wander has changed the game. Ever Been Exhausted at a Conference? If you're like me, you've been to tons of conferences. Does this sound familiar? - Indoor ballrooms without windows - Morning to evening sessions - Hard and uncomfortable chairs (especially for all-day sitting) - Tons of people / crowds - Ending your time exhausted rather than energized I was right there with you. Every event left me more tired than the last. And at some point I just wondered why no one had changed the game. CaboPress is Completely Different If you want different results, you have to change the game. You can't keep putting people in crowded ballrooms and in stiff chairs, with all day sessions, and hope they come out fresh and energetic. I created [CaboPress](=) almost ten years ago. It's a completely different kind of business conference. - The sessions are held in a pool (at a five-star resort in Cabo) - There are only two conversations from 9 am to noon daily - You can work out with trainers every morning (if you like) - The conference is small so you can connect with every person - You end up rested, relaxed and recharged If you haven't [applied yet to join me this October](, do it now! Sometimes to change the game, you have to experience a radical paradigm shift. CaboPress will do that for you. In fact, it will ruin all conferences for you after being there. But once you see it, and get it, you'll realize that it's not impossible to change the game. The post [Want Different Results?
