I'm slightly burnt out, politics aside.  [READER]( The Daily Reader I’m writing this newsletter before the polls have closed on Tuesday night. Which means I have no sense of how I’ll be feeling when this message hits your inbox. I suspect I will be slightly burnt out, politics aside. For [last week’s issue]( I wrote about 10,000 words between two features, several concert previews, and the Gossip Wolf column I work on with J.R. Nelson. I’ve got another big feature slated to come out next week, so apologies for the brevity of today’s newsletter. Not that I need to give anyone another reason to spend more time in front of a screen. If it’s nice out when you receive this message, I hope you’re able to carve out some respite from work and enjoy the unseasonably warm weather. If you’re planning to take a 30-minute walk anytime soon and need something to listen to, m[y playlist for this week’s newsletter will last your entire journey](. (You can always find the link for my newest mix further down in these emails.) And I hope however you spend your week, it is a rejuvenating experience; we’ll all need the energy to make it to the runoff. Sincerely, “[I felt uneasy about reunion nostalgia.
