Today is July 4th (obviously) and here in America it's a day to celebrate freedom and independence. I'm spending this holiday in the place where it all started... Plymouth Mass. which is literally where the settlers arrived in America in 1620. It gives you a REAL perspective on things when you realize this little fact... We arrived here in 1620 and didn't get our "freedom" until 1776. Which means the settlers spent 156 years working for it... FIGHTING for it. I mention that because true FREEDOM is always on the other side of a fight... freedom is more than just the government kind. Ask yourself... do YOU feel free? Are you living your life the way you want? Do you have to go into the office tomorrow? What will happen if you don't? This is something I've worked for since I started my business 14 years ago. The ability to be "free"... mentally and physically. I genuinely believe that anyone can have that level of freedom if they are willing to engage in the battles and keep fighting them day in and day out. Running your own business is a battle. You will lose battles along the way... 100%! To this day, I still do... but I know the war is won through winning more of the battles than I lose. So this 4th of July I hope that you'll think about YOUR freedom... I hope you think about what it takes to achieve freedom and how worthwhile it'll be. Our founding fathers risked everything to give US the opportunity to have freedom... it still won't be easy but it is possible. (even if you aren't in the US) We all want freedom... but what separates you is your willingness to go get it. Enjoy your 4th!
