Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in:     Email Campaign Idea - The Self Gifting Email: - Email Examples: - [The Self Gifting Email Example 1]( - [The Self Gifting Email Example 2](  Purpose/Context of Email: Self-gifting is one of the best campaign types you can do as of late. People absolutely love spoiling themselves with impulse buys. I'm one of those people. If you can capture someone with an email like this at the right time, you're gonna be very successful with it. Check this out. [Example 1]( is from Mejuri. This email is for Valentine's Day and briefly discusses gifting yourself something shiny, but it doesn't have to be for a holiday. You can convince someone to buy themselves something just by putting an offer in front of them and suggesting that they deserve it. Trust me. [Example 2]( is from MatchaBar, a brand you can always rely on for top-tier emails. With this one, they did exactly what I just mentioned in the last example. "You worked hard this week, you need this" is one of the best lines you can deliver to an audience. They LOVE being told that they should reward themselves. They love being rewarded (obviously), but they always feel guilty for doing it themselves. If YOU give them permission, they'll do it. This is the perfect time to engage them with the benefits of joining. - Segmented Promotion: Tailor your loyalty program promotion based on customer behavior. For frequent buyers, highlight the additional perks they can earn. For less frequent customers, showcase how joining can enhance their shopping experience. You can learn the [additional 7 tips here.](     Marketing Resource of the Week:  Here’s a table that outlines different types of content, their purposes, target audiences, and potential platforms for distribution:      Podcast Episode of the Week:  This week Cardinal Mason and I discussed: - How to monetize a personal brand without selling courses - What Reality TV Can Teach You About Copywriting - Educational Email Course Update [Listen to the episode here.](     Email Marketing Tip #2 of the Week: Here are 5 quick tips to make your marketing emails more engaging: - Start with a Bang: Use intriguing subject lines that promise value. Test questions, teasers, or benefit-driven phrases. Additionally, make sure to take advantage of the preview text. - Personalize: Tailor content to subscriber segments for relevance. Leverage things like past purchases, interests, or behaviors.  - Storytelling: Weave narratives that connect your product to their needs. And share customer testimonials on how your product solves your customer's problems. - Visually Appealing: Break text with images or graphics for easy reading. Use relevant images or infographics to break up your text. - Clear CTA: Guide readers on what to do next with a compelling call-to-action. And the placement of your CTA is important, too; position your call-to-action above the fold and toward the end of your copy. Reminder: Engagement starts with understanding your audience's interests and ends with delivering content that resonates with them.     ChatGPT-4 Marketing Prompt: Generate [number] TikTok content ideas that leverage current trends and showcase our client's brand personality in a fun, engaging manner.
