Here's what I'm seeing regarding email marketing and copywriting this week. This edition is full of tips and resources. So without further ado, let's dive in:     Email Campaign Idea - The Product Highlight Email: - Email Examples: - [The Product Highlight Email Example 1]( - [The Product Highlight Email Example 2](  - Purpose/Context of Email: This is a friendly reminder that your audience is not as galaxy-brained as you might think they are. They need to be told what to do. They need to be reminded constantly that they need to do that thing. The product highlight email reminds them that this is an amazing product, and they need to have it. Do it like this. [Example 1]( is from TRNK, a high-end home brand. This email very sleekly describes one of their main products/collections, the rugs. The entire email is an experience. Since these are a high-ticket product, they treat the email like someone is walking you through a retail store describing everything to you personally. Benefits, features, and everything in between. This is a very vivid email. I recommend you go this route if you're selling high-end products, because this is very impressive. [Example 2]( is from Casper. This is a much more DTC-style email that most people will use or copy. Softer colors, younger-looking imagery, and nonchalant copy. This speaks more to a younger audience, but they make this pillow sound REAL good. Copy this format if you ever want to try this email. 3 main points, and each one gets its own block in the email. - Segment(s): - Your engaged segment  - Subject Line Idea: - Have you seen (product) yet? - The (product) highlight. - We're putting the spotlight on (product).  - Preview Text Idea: - You HAVE to. - We know you need this. - It's truly a showstopper.     Sponsor of the Week:  One big thing I'm leaning into right now is trying to line up as many talented people to work with this quarter as possible. There are an insane amount of opportunities on my plate, and now it's just a matter of getting the right people into the right seats to get the tasks at hand done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I'm doing most of my hiring through [MarketerHire]( for both freelance marketer and marketing assistant-type roles. I'm a huge believer in focusing on high-leverage tasks and offloading everything else. So whether you need an [email marketer]( a [marketing or design assistant]( or some paid search and social help, the list goes on. Check out how [MarketerHire]( can set you up with the best in the business in record time.      Copywriting Visual of the Week:  10 Cognitive Biases You Can Use to Create High-Converting Copy:       Copywriting Tip of the Week:  Copywriting Tip:  Add a “qualification” section at the top of your copy:  >> This is for you if… >> You’re struggling with [problem] >> You’re tired of [pain point] >> You’ve tried [other solutions]  This will draw in qualified prospects and push away unqualified ones.     Podcast Episode of the Week:  This week Cardinal Mason and I discussed: - CEO Resolutions - Tips on Managing People - Raise Your Kids Rich? The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
