Welcome to Edition 90 of Alex In My Inbox. Alex In My Inbox is a weekly copywriting series where I share interesting, actionable, and hilarious copywriting tips from "Alex." Alex is an anonymous copywriter who shares these tips with me so I can share them with you. But first, I wanted to share more about the platform I [hire freelance marketers from.]( Yesterday, I talked about the benefits of hiring freelancers vs. full-time, in-house employees. And a few thousand of you checked out the platform I recommended to hire freelance marketers from, [MarketerHire.]( Because it was so well received, I just wanted to share it again so everyone had the link. I used to be a marketing freelancer for hire on their platform and have been using it over the past few years to hire amazing marketers for my businesses. If you want to work with an amazing marketer, I highly recommend [chatting with them.]( I especially love how quickly they began sending me marketers to interview and that they shoulder much of the administrative burden of working with others. And the pre-vetted talent they have are world-class marketers. They have some of the top marketers from small and large companies alike. It's truly impressive! sponsored  Today, Alex has an email for us that’s supposed to hype us up for the biggest sales month of the year.  Let’s get inspired together:     Dear Chase, I know I sent an email to you recently that may sound pretty similar to this one, but I have to double down. Because some people don’t understand. This is just a friendly reminder that we are now in November. This is the time to make money. All of my clients have a substantially-sized list are about to get hit with so many sales emails that it’s not even funny. Chase, this is the time. All year, we’ve been nurturing our lists. We’ve been so careful with what we say. We’ve been tiptoeing around the fact that we have products to sell. We’ve been providing a ton of value. We’ve been making an effort to connect with our audiences and make them love and trust us. It’s November now. This is when people are most likely to buy stuff, and we need to give them the opportunity. I’m fired up to make some money. It’s printing season. I’m gonna drop 3 tips to help you sell as hard as you possibly can so that we can all pull out $100k cash and throw it on the bed. Tip #1: Be more aggressive with claims. A lot of us have offers that provide some sort of guarantee, but the guarantee is weak as hell. “I’ll make you an extra $1000 in 30 days or you don’t pay.” WEAK. Nobody is moved by that. Up the amount that you plan to make someone, and decrease the time you’ll make it take. The thing is, you need to actually honor it. If someone buys your thing, pay more attention to the product so that the people inside will actually see results with it. A good example of this is Creator’s Corner by Jimmy Farley. It’s a program that helps people make money as a UGC Creator. Once you enroll, he literally gives you a job with an ecom brand as soon as you complete the course. These are good opportunities that can make someone money literally right away. His claims can be super aggressive because he can back it up. Tip #2: SPAM Social Proof This is the biggest lever you have at your disposal. If you’re going to get people to buy something, you need an inordinate amount of proof that the thing works. A few times a week, you should be sending case studies to your list about how someone got some ridiculous results with whatever you’re selling. Weight loss, MMO, whatever. If you’ve been around for more than 6 months, you likely have more reviews and case studies than you know what to do with. This is why people buy. They want to see someone who looks like a future version of themselves having success. Tip #3: The Converté Email Converté is an agency that helps info-products scale to the moon. I spoke to the guy behind it once and he gave me a tip that I never forgot. “Don’t give them reasons why they should buy, give them reasons why they should buy right now.” If you’ve been sending emails and they’re not converting, it’s because you haven’t told them why they should buy right now. This is a little hack that reframes the way you sell, and it adds a level of urgency that will make your “less serious” prospects become “more serious”. People will always find reasons to put off a big purchase. If you can tell them why NOW is the time to do it, you’ll make more money than you ever have. Hope these are helpful Chase. Let’s make some money this month.
